Willingness of reception staff to sort out room problems and order taxi.
I had booked a twin room for one night, as confirmed in the e-mail, but I was told system showed a double room for two nights. Although we had a twin room the single bed had no bedside table or light, so was not very convenient.

Good position for Festival goers. Quiet road. Nice food. Pleasant room. Pleasant staff.
The first room given to us was very poor. After some negotiation another and better room was found. Lots of stairs and no lift. No visitors lounge. Dining-room a bit bleak. Very early finishing time for evening meals. It should not be necessary to negotiate meal times at 8 pm.

Good breakfast
Bed was a fold up bed and it was too short. My feet were over the end of the bed. I addressed this with the staff at the hotel on the morning after the first of two nights stay. The member of staff did offer to move myself and a friend to a different room, but there was only one other room available the following night and the member of staff conceded that they would be hosting a wedding reception and that a disco would be going on until midnight. The one free room was immediately above the room where the reception was being staged. I received no compensation for my experience, which I believe was due to me.
Overall: I can't believe that such a short bed is provided. I am only 5' 8" and my feet were over the end of the bed! I wouldn't wish this experience on any other customers and I made this point on leaving. (108990951)
