Welcoming hosts, Good sized room, beautiful vicorian house, fantastic view from dining room, level walk to historical city interests.
En-suite door not well fitting, so privacy impeded. Dust on chest of drawers and chain found on floor !!!
Overall: Lovely couple, enjoyed staying in a Victorian house with original features. (108196206)

Cheap and cheerful. In view of the cost of others I found this good value for money. Very clean and the staff were very helpful. Good for one night stay not sure of a few nights ????
Non - apart from the decor being a little dated.
Overall: Good value for money but not sure would stay there again as it is positioned in the old part of the city and it is a fair walk to the other side with a steep hill. (108120477)

Clean, comfortable, in an excellent location for Lincoln Cathedral and Castle, also for restaurants for a good evening meal. The proprietors are very friendly and accommodating.
Parking is limited so it is a good idea to phone ahead and check the position before you arrive by car. On our visit, the sound on BBC2 on the bedroom TV wasn´t working but it didn´t detract from our experience.
Overall: We enjoyed our stay at Mayfield as it allowed us to visit the main sights of Lincoln without having to negotiate Steep Hill - always a bonus. (108970140)
