Nice bathroom very spacious nice shower and bath refurbished excellent breakfast

cobwebs in bland bedroom not refurbished and we were placed next to a young rugby squad? who were up late and bragging loudly about their exploits and gym routines which we heard through our connecting door after midnight very late one lad like a duracell rabbit. i had to complain to reception well after midnight and bang on the connecting door as reception seemed not to do anything.

Generally the service was ok, staff were helpful and hotel condition good.

Room was very small and cramped. Heating did not work and so I was cold for most of the night.

Noisy - close to bars/clubs in city centre and no double glazing, so very noisy throughout the night

Booked a twin room and initially given a double. Charged a higher rate (£80)than quoted at booking(£60). Kettle not working.

The check in staff were brilliant - I had lost my wallet on my travels and there help in finding phone numbers also helped me locate my wallet

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
