Friendly and efficient staff, decor very grown up but hotel atmosphere relaxed. Food excellent also. Jacuzzi in room which was a nice surprise!

Overall: We took the option of a champagne DBB stay and this was certainly worth the money. The hotel surroundings was very good, food excellent and an overall excellent experience. Our room was upgraded for free to the superior room and it certainly did not disappoint. Would certainly stay here again. This was our second stay and we do prefer the new part of the hotel. Excellent hotel, well situated. High standards of cleanliness, and a warm welcome.
Heating on in public areas - outside temperature being 23c+! Inappropriate background music in bar area(a classical radio programme) and a continuous repeat song by James Taylor in restaurant. Restaurant and bar staff seemed rather disorganised with no one person seeming to be in charge
Overall: Minus points are small niggley points but would not stop us re-visiting. Despite slow service in restaurant food was excellent. (107728300)
