Bed too small and narrow for use as a double. (Room 205) No Fridge in room. No air conditioning. (Too warm at night)

we informed the hotel that we would be arriving very early on the morning of check-in for breakfast, which we enjoyed. We said we would check in later that evening, as it was too early to do so. Receptionist sid that she knew we were here and that would be fine.

When we returned to check in, after a very long, tireing day, we were greeted by a very irate genltleman receptionist, who had obviously had a very long, tiring day, with an attitude that does not befit usuall hotel staff that i am used to.We were then told that because of a wedding party that was going on that our room was no longer available due to " an over booking error".We were than sent to a "Best" Western hotel down the road.

Youngish chap on reception when checking in was very good, gave good customer service and was chatty and pleasant.

My room was right above the disco, I called down to reception at 10pm to be told that the music would be finished at 11pm, I decided to sit it out and continued to listen to it until 11.10pm before calling down again to be told that the initial lady that had told me it would be off by 11pm was wrong and it were to finish after 12 - I complained and was offered a move of room and took it. When moving I couldnt sleep and this made my stay a very unhappy one.

Overall: could have been better, especially if the lady had found out the correct information, also why would you put non function customers directly above the function, I was not party to the function so was never going to be able to sleep before it had ended.  (108791637)

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
