breakfast food and service good.

reception businesslike but unsmiling male personnel. parking very chaotic and probably would not convince me to return for longer than one night.

Overall: Personnel attention good. The Victorian style common areas, the English breakfast and the nice restaurants where its served were very good. My only complain was the tiny simple room where I was looked more as a cheap B&B hotel than a 68 pounds room one. Very poor value for money.  (108591174)

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
