The staff were friendly and helpful. Good parkiing facilities. The hanging baskets were going over, but still looked spectacular. They must have looked stunning in the summer.

The cleanliness of the carpets. It was a shock when I came to book in at reception, to see the dirty carpets.The stair carpet and our bedroom carpet were stained Not a good impression of the hotel.Also it would be helpful if there was a bell on the reception desk l as often the desk was not manned. The kettle wire could not be disconnected , this meant to fill it we had to take kettle and plug to tap. I,m sure health and safety would not approve. The lead was too short so it was a problem to fill cups . Where did you find something so dangerous?

Overall: Enjoyed the town and situation of the hotel. As we met friends, we didn't sample dinner, but we did enjoy breakfast. We slept well the bed was comfortable  (108896220)

The courtyard was exceptionally nice to sit out in given the good weather.

Our main complaint was that the room was exceptionally dark. Only two bed lights, in the whole of the room. Nowhere near adequate!

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire.
