Lovely grounds and woodland walks - All the little touches in the room made the difference - home baked biscuits - footspa - good toiletries - fluffy towels and bathrobes - decanter of sherry - a jug of real milk for the tea instead of those awful longlife cartons. Most important - a lLvely soft 4 poster bed and pillows too.
Checkout is too early - 11am - fortunately for us the clocks went back that night. Also breakfast finishes at 9.30 - too early for a leisurely Sunday. The drapes were so heavy and we slept so well we overslept and missed breakfast!

The canopy around the bed did not close, on your website the picture is misleading as it looks like a four poster bed. The breakfast which i ordered in the room was late,it came without the butter for the toast, no coissants. when i rang down the butter came but was so hard i was unable to spread it. The breakfast itself was very poor, one sausage,half uncooked tomatoe.small triangle of fried bread and the bacon was undercooked. i would not stay again or recommend it .
