It was easy to find and the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was good and the waiters excellent. It was useful having a restaurant next door.

Shabby carpets in communal areas and bathroom suite needed updating - there was mould around the tiles and bath seal.

Overall: The overall look of the hotel was very shabby and although some of the furniture in my room was new and modern the bathroom desperately needed updating. It had a tired advocado suite and although it was clean the tiles and bath seal had mould and there were bare pipes which were dusty and added to the feel of it being old and unkempt. The bed was very lumpy and not comfortable but the overall room was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly - particularly in the restaurant. It is in a very busy area so there was a lot of noise in the street after all the pubs had closed.  (1348361)

* great central location * essentials were provided (iron + board, toiletries, complimentary juice + water * the door leading out of the hotel was the best part about it

* was like a student halls of residence - parties till early hours of morning * run down hotel * nightime staff didnt have a clue what they were doing

Overall: wouldnt go back there - also hotel took two lots of payments out of my account and denied it, I had to send proof of my bank statement before they would reimburse me, they claimed they didnt hold card details but they clearly do as one payment was chip and pin and they next they took out using my card details the next day, also they didnt have a clue that I had booked a room there and claimed it was actives hotels fault  (108194043)

Room had good range of facilities - all working except bedside radio.

Hotel overall was a little run down, needing a thorough cleaning and redecoration.

Overall: Adequate and just about value for money. Very noisy up till about 11pm cos of position of room and a lively bar downstairs  (107865123)

Adequate for a 1 night stay

Abysmal customer service from bar staff. Girl very unfriendly, didn't know wines, no smile. Looked utterly fed up! Nachos came with mango mayonnaise rather than sour cream?! Early morning alarm call I booked did not happen. Staff very poorly presented. No area set up for breakfast.

Overall: Ok for 1 night, but I'm sure there are better!  (107786487)
