Good overall except for the hot water incident

Room 211, Sheffield Park Hotel, Chesterfield Road, Sheffield. No hot water at the washbasin, lukewarm at best. It was obvious that there was a service fault. Had we been staying longer than one night then this would not have been acceptable.

Overall: Suited our pupose admirably. Will stay at this hotel again.  (108429919)

The receptionist on duty offered to have our bags taken to our rooms so we could get some food in the bar before it shut. Much appreciated after the amount of driving I had done and our late arrival! The barman was very courteous and patient. Helped us to start relaxing.

A relatively minor point but at breakfast the next morning we weren't offered hot drinks but had to request it from any passing staff. I found the breakfast to be luke warm rather than piping hot. We were at breakfast around 9.20 on Sunday morning.

Overall: My daughter and I enjoyed our stay and would book again and perhaps stay longer if possible. The bar food was very good. Your staff and their smiles made all the difference.  (108632144)

Good location on south side of Sheffield, easy to find, good parking facilities, good sized clean room, helpful friendly staff, good restaurant and superb breakfast, gym, excellent value for money for a 4 star hotel

Overall: Really enjoyable stay again - highly recommended & within easy reach of city centre and the Peak District  (107503026)
