The hotel was one of the best hotels I have been to, in that it felt like home from home

The shower head would not stay in place, I had to have one hand on the shower head at the same time as having a shower, the bed was hard, and when I came down in the morning the man at the desk was asleep and making noses in his sleep, which I had to go back to my room and read the morning papers in the room

Pleasant staff

We were supposed to be in an executive room but was akin to a childs playroom with pictures of kids horses painted everywhere and very tired , not furniture inline with the period of the hotel, worn out wardrobe which had been dubbed to look antique, no mini bar and food that for the price was undercooked and overpriced.

Overall: As a 1 off special evening out the whole experience was disgusting to the point where we left the same evening.  (107189775)

Dinner and service were excellent

Breakfast was well cooked, what there was of it, one rasher of bacon with two poached eggs. The toast was burnt and the selection of fresh fruit was poor.

Excellent location Polite and efficient staff

Query over free bottle of wine stated on booking form Didnt realize we had ordered breakfast via room service by completing form in room
