The excellent friendly bar
The rooms were rather basic
Overall: The main problem was the hotel was difficult to find ,directions were only given from the airport not the Forth bridge or in deed the centre of Edinburgh. (1642152)
Helpful and friendly staff.
No lift/disabled facilities. Bathroom floortiles cracked. Shortage of staff/ chef at breakfast times.

Nice hotel, good services.
Booking changed at 48hrs notice by Agenda hotel for technical reasons? However we were most satisfied with the other hotel Edinburgh Capital hotel.

extremely, in fact painfully slow service, breakfast was terrible, the self service buffet left alot to be desired, couldn't drink the tea as water must have been sitting there all morning. the juices and milk very warm which is not what you would expect.
Overall: our first impressions of the hotel were not good, the overall decor could do with being replaced, however the room was better that what we would have expected from the corridors etc. The one area that definitely needs to be addressed is food service. It took over half an hour to get a cup of tea with shortbread biscuits in the bar, and that was after checking what was the delay, something about the chef - surely anyone can take a few biscuits out of a packet?????????
