Excellent service, breakfast - little touches such as water provided in the room. We were travelling with a rail rover ticket and the situation was perfect, being beside the rail station. The hotel was busy but there was little noise on the corridor (although I suppose you can be unlucky).
Receptionists were a little curt for Scotland.
Overall: Please thank the staff of the Royal Highland on our behalf. We have spent 2.5 months working in Europe this year (2004) and staying in various hotels in France, Italy and Belgium as well as the UK, so our Inverness stay was based on a lot of recent experience of varying accommodation! It was most enjoyable and we would certainly consider a return at some time in the future. (1740469)

Overall: The only question I would like to ask is that in the information package in the room it said that the Ash Bar would be open until 1amn the Friday evening,when in fact it closed at 12 midnight!!This should be addressed. (1625418)
