Convenient for the south side of the city; friendly and helpful staff; more character than chain hotels; parking adequate

Room was on the small side and decor and facilities were a bit tired, although everything worked OK; restaurant (Italian) was undersubscribed and a better Italian meal could easily be had at the entertainment complex just up the road

Overall: Not a bad place, but not so wonderful as to justify an enthusiastic return  (107882453)

No hot water from shower,very depressing dinning area,bad smell in reception

Clean and comfortable.

Shower not very good which we did inform reception of. Not within walking distance of town. Waited over 15 mins to check out as noone available at desk.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, location, comfortable room. Dinner in the restaurant was good.

Not really bad points but not many facilities and basic breakfast choice.

Overall: Good-we went for a short midweek break and for what we required the hotel was more than adequate. No complaints & the website description of the hotel was accurate. A comfortable if basic family run hotel.  (107233561)

Hotel was well situated for the centre

The room was damp with wall paper hanging off.

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
