The bathroom was nice!!

The place stunk of Indian food - even the corridors leading to the rooms. It wasn't made clear that it was predominantly an Indian menu in the restaurant - we none of us like Indian - and when we asked for an English menu it was basic and limited, so we left and went elsewhere. The rooms were noisy, the whole place run down and badly in need of a facelift and overhaul. Nothing like any of the other Best Westerns we have stayed in. The whole place was shoddy. Breakfast was adequate but we had to continually ask for top ups of milk, butter, preserves, cooked items etc.

Overall: We wont be staying there again  (108483431)

excellent views, clean and well serviced. good food. pleasant staff

very few. maybe additional staff at breakfast would be advantageous. the lift is a bit small for two people and luggage.

Overall:  On arrival we were efficiently checked in by a very pleasant receptionist. Our room on the 3rd floor (304) was of good size with all necessary facilities. the bathroom on a second level via a small set of stairs was clean and modern with a door to a mezzanine area and uninterrupted views over the sea. The offerings for breakfast are more than adequate. The in house Indian restaurant serves very good food. all in all a very good experience, and good value  (107308162)

Location and bathroom

Lack of off-street parking; tiny lift; unhelpful receptionist; general noise from plumbing; other guests and awoken by seaguls at 04:30hrs

Overall: stayed one night; had we have booked for longer we would have left, even if that meant losing money  (107470322)

Excellent location on sea front - comfortable well appointed rooms, recently refurbished - 2 restaurants (1 English, 1 Indian)- good buffet breakfast - friendly and helpful staff

Limited on site parking

Overall: An ideal base for a short or long break with easy access to East Kent coast, Dover and Channel Tunnel  (107681196)
