Room was really lovely, plenty of space. Bed was firm.

Shower was luke warm - did mention this on leaving the next morning.

The decor was complementary to the age of the building, the bathroom was large, well equiped and very clean

Floors a bit creaky which didn't worry us as we didn't have anyone above us but, if you were below........

Overall: The position of the hotel in the town was exceptional, all the staff were helpful and pro-active. The restaurant provided good, varied choices of food. This is a good hotel offering a quality product and the cost reflects that.  (97496251)

The next rooms bathroom was by our headboard. Too much noise and didn't leave much to the imagination

The hotel-building looks very romantic and boasts a lovely garden. Very nice room. Excellent restaurant.

Shower handling not easy.

Overall: Top hotel with an excellent restaurant. Located in centre of town yet in a quiet surrounding. Excellent breakfast included. Staff very helpful. Shower not very user friendly (not really state-of-the art).  (99344283)

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
