Parking available for 5/6 cars. Well located for city centre 15 mins walk away.
Room was too small for a double and the en-suite was narrow (29" wide) with a small cloakroom handbasin instead of a proper size wash basin. The cleanliness was marginal in both the room and en-suite where the condition of the bath mat was a disgrace. The furniture was crammed in with the bedhead hard against the radiator and the wardrobe had to be moved to get past the bottom of the bed. The arrangement was potentially hazardous for an elderly person. The room furniture did not include a chair that was a problem as there is no Guest Lounge. The curtains were too thin and allowed light from the all-night floodlight mounted outside the window. There is no double glazing so it was noisy from the traffic on the A15. The optional £5pp full breakfast offered was adequate but no light breakfast choice.
Overall: A very mediocre and disappointing experience. We were surprised that it displayed an AA 3-star Guest Accommodation plaque. (108836691)
