The foyer was smart, clean and attractive. It has a car park and is close to the city centre.
Contrary to the reservation confirmation, the rooms were drab and very small. The curtains were worn out and stained. The toilet had problems, although they moved us to another room (equally drab).
Overall: We stayed in this hotel to be near our daughter. We have stayed in other hotels in Cambridge (further away) which were much better. Next time we will return to the De Vere which is slightly more expensive, but much better. (108892740)

Service good - staff made us feel welcome.
Bedroom in need of refurbishment, no papers offered, asked for a kipper but was given haddock.. no kippers available.. dining area v. dusty.. making own tea/coffee difficult as it was so low down under the television.
Overall: Disappointing for the money we paid. Had just stayed in a 5 star Guest house which was far superior and had smoked salmon and scambled egg for breakfast, plus cooked and continental and was fantasically clean and comfortable. (107906478)
