Cleanliness of room

Rude staff who's attitudes were appauling, the lady who checked us in spoke to us like naughty children regarding the parking situation and the night staff ignored us when we greeted them with "Good evening"! Poor value for money Dirty plates left in dining room during most of breakfast

Overall: Did not enjoy our stay at the Chequers, we will never stay here again, or recommend it and we will also be leaving feedback on Trip Advisor so that people are aware of the lack of service we received  (108636038)

staff were very friendly and breakfast was good

bedroom very small twin instead of double but that may have been my own fault at booking.

Overall: the following night we stayed at the big blue for an extra 4 pounds we had evening dinner included the standard was far superior having said that the chequers was ok but pricey for what it is. Again though i must say the staff were very pleasant.  (108901454)
