The decor in the room was excellent. The size of the bedroom was also great.
The lighting in the bedroom was very poor. There were 4 females in our room and getting ready to go out in the evening meant taking turns sharing the small mirror in the bathroom to apply make up etc. We were all disappointed with the lack of light in the bedroom.
We were not entitlted to a breakfast in the morning even though our friends had booked for the same price but drectly with the Hotel and got a breakfast thrown in!
Also a friend staying in the other room badly hurt her fingers when the window dropped onto them.
Overall: We had a great week end overall so we would definatly stay again - but next time I would book directly with the Hotel to ensure a breakfast! (107866558)

when booking was not told about live band / music till 3am

Nice room
This hotel needs to decide whether it's a sports bar or a hotel. The sports on the TV was a good thing, but the VERY loud music that I couldn't avoid hearing in my room, was very annoying.
In addition, the breakfast was a joke. There were no cups, no glasses, and when I asked for some hot water for the coffee which I had to make I was told it was in the flask - which was marked 'tea'. I would have expected the waitress to then at least make the coffee for me, especially as my breakfast was on the table getting cold! Very poor show for £6.50!

Good sized room, plenty of tea / coffee etc, Shower was hot and powerful.
In need of refurbishment to tidy it up, looked grubby on the whole.

Very old in need of refurb. Room was dirty, in particular the bed whose quilt was old, stained and the valance covered in dust. Shower curtain was black. Fixtures and fittings in need of changing. Lot of traffic noise. Very overpriced for what was on offer.
