Great location, beautiful setting overlooking a rowing lake, near town centre. Check in was very quick and easy, all the staff were very friendly and helpfull
Hotel was a bit dated and in need of refurbishment particually the bathroom but very clean

Food in restaurant was superb. View from the bedroom over the rowing lake was a nice bonus. The adjoining water park was perfect for a stroll. Staff were very helpful and friendly. LCD TV with Freeview in room.
Bathroom very cramped, bedroom could do with modernising. As other reviewers have noted, all the double glazing units in the restaurant need changing - there is no point in having a nice view over the lake when the windows are permanently steamed up.
Overall: Very good for a 3 star, but room for improvement. Would be happy to stay again. (107151737)

Wedding reception taking place, very noisy with people banging and shouting about most of the night. No keys working so had to be taken to your room.
