The room was very clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Good quality full english breakfast.

Slightly over priced considering the size of the room. There is a busy roaad close to the front of the property so traffic noise can be a problem.

Shower system would not give consistent comfortable temp of water Directions for arrival on booking sheet need improving. They must asssume travellers arrive without a detailed city map.

It was a good B&B with an excellent breakfast and we enjoyed our stay.

There was a problem with the on-line booking process in that different pages quoted two different prices (the difference was about 20 GBP), and it proved impossible to contact the B&B by email before our trip to clarify the situation. When we raised this matter at the point when we were paying the bill, the proprietor explained they were having a problem with their website provider and hadn't been able to update the figure. While we thought the higher price was reasonable value, and since it was only for one night we paid it, we would have been more impressed if some compensatory gesture had been made - the fault was not ours, and the proprietor has to take responsibility for the performance of their service providers, and for their contactability.

Overall: While it was a good B&B and we would stay there again, we were sufficiently dissatisfied by the way the pricing matter was handled that I think we would look at other alternatives first.  (107991804)
