Food was excellent and the staff very welcoming.

Double room booked needed refurbishment. Other room already repainted, needs new fittings.

Overall: It seems that the bedrooms of this hotel are undergoing refurbishment and therefore are very dated but as the rest of the hotel is very good and the food and staff were excellent, we enjoyed our stay.  (1353033)

1.Peaceful setting, yet close to attractions 2.Excellent food 3.Plenty of space in the public areas of the hotel. 4.Friendly and helpful staff.

1.Bedroom decor was in need of refreshing. 2.No shower in bathroom. 3.No fridge for baby food

Overall: It was not clear if breakfast was included in the price. Generally an enjoyable stay, but to justify the cost charged, the standard of the accomodation should be upgraded.  (1318113)

Restaurant staff very helpful and accommodating, excellent breakfast, vegetarians catered for. Evening meal throughly enjoyable, I could not make my mind up on dessert so the waitress said I can give you a portion of each, nice touch.
