Nearly everything was excellent. The food, the service, the staff, the building and the environment.
Could not get WiFi to work in our room, despite the best efforts, of the stafff, and we could not buy any of the raspberry jam.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and of good standard, the breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice and high quality. The hotel is set in a very convenient spot, within walking distance of pubs, shops and the railway station.Free parking for residents.
The only bad point was that my room did not have a hairdryer and I had to ask for one. This was only a minor point however, and was quickly resolved.
Overall: A very enjoyable stay, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a classy place to stay in the Peak District. (108760657)
