excellent breakfast (particularly in comparison with the last 2-3 hotels I visited in London in the last 4 months); bathroom quite recently refurbished; very close to tube station
small small room; TV remote control not working; lamp beside my bed not working; stairs between first and second floor leaning on the outer side; very narrow sash window's opening

The hotel is very convenient for Earl's Court Station and unlike hotels on the other side of the road, where it can be very noisy from the station, this hotel is quite peaceful. The breakfast staff were helpful and cheerful.
I stayed at this hotel last year and then the breakfast included cold meat but this time it was only dried-up slices of cheese. However, plenty of cereal and bread for toasting. The showerhead in the bathroom had not been cleaned (perhaps ever) so the flow of water was pathetic. I booked two months in advance and asked for a room near the ground floor but was two floors up which was not good for my friend who has walking difficulties especially as breakfast is another floor down. Returning to our room after breakfast was a trial.
Overall: Adequate. Would perhaps stay again because of the convenience and price if nothing else was available.

Cramped breakfast room, no lift but not a problem if you are aware
