clean, comfortable - does what it -says on the tin

check in told me card was declined when it wasn't - made me feel abit stupid because I knew the money for the hotel had been blocked. Then she saidthat normally people didn't use the blocked money but used up more money on their credit card to pay. Utter rubbish!

Overall: very good  (108724854)

Very easy booking on the Internet.

A very small room for 2 persons.

Overall: Overall we had an ok stay at the hotel. Nothing fancy but seems ok to the price. When in London you only need a place to sleep and take a bath.  (108613184)

Close to where we wanted to go. Good value for money.

Booked for my son. He had to bend right down into the bowl to brush his teeth due to shape of ceiling and where the basin was placed as he's tall. He thought they were getting 3 x single beds, as shown on the website, but, in fact, was given a double and a single - more suitable for couple with a child.

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
