Staff very helpful, reception and lounge nicely presented.

First room allocated had a 'drinks' machine against the wall the other side of the bed, it was possible to hear fridge. In the second room, the central heating did not work, also, the heater in the bathroom did not work. there was only one set of towels for the two guests. When we enquired about getting some lunch, we were sent next door to the Public Bar, which is a bit basic,however, the bar staff were very friendly and the food was ok.

Overall: Overall, the staff were very pleasent and were able to get an extra heater and the extra linen very quickly. Also, the Duty Receptionist dealt with the change of room requirement efficiently. We would certainly like to stay at your hotel again, and perhaps other in your Chain.  (108190127)

Surprisingly comfortable and quiet hotel. One of the best night's sleeps I have had in a long time!

The breakfast staff really didn't appear to want to serve me breakfast. Admittedly I was 10 minutes late, but was quite taken aback by the apparent unwillingness to help. In fairness to them, they did change attitude fairly quickly and sorted me out with food and coffee. Very comfortable and quiet as mentioned, but room was just starting to show signs of tiredness.

Not booked into the Hotel when we arrived at 10pm at night, The Hotel staff got us 3 rooms for that night in their hotel( 3 twins next to each other as requested???) but could not accomadate us the next night. The 2 girls on the desk were very helpful.

Overall: Thanks to Justin in Active Hotels we were sorted in another Hotel for the saturday night without any extra cost to us. He sorted us out with just 1 phone call.  (107423575)

staff excellent

room not realy up to standard..venner coming of drawers...shower a bit past it..mould starting round silicone in bath

Overall: for the price it was ok but stayed there years ago and the standard dropprd a bit since then maybe we just had a bad room ?????  (107989133)
