Staff were generally helpful, lovely big shower, comfy bed, lovely and warm.

Window didn't shut/lock; pl.astic cups with kettle in room to make hot drinks in (unsafe); lack of pillows; lack of choice for breakfast; no decaff tea/coffee (can't have caffiene so quite important to me).

Overall: The walk up three flights of stairs, lack of pillows, window that didn't shut properly, and plastic cups to make hot drinks in were obvious negatives. However the price was fairly good, the closeness to the event we were visiting was fantastic and the staff were fairly amenable. Could be fairly easily improved and hope it is because I could be a regular guest if it was.  (108336196)

The hotel staffs (maybe Indians) were friendly. My room was very clean. The bathroom was also very clean.I could use a double room even if I paid single room rate.

Brekfast was not enough.Only a bowl of corn frakes ,toasts and tea or cofee.

There are no good points to this discracefull hotel

The hotel was poorly cleaned, continental breakfast was cornflakes and toast only, the wardrobes were falling apart, the rooms were not large enough for the beds to fit in and space to move around, wifi is only available if you sit in the reception by the computer cupboard (not whole hotel as stated), excuse for anything is 'i'm new and dont know anything. the pillows were so so flat as to not be really worth it and to get an extra 1 we had to wait till after 11pm

Overall: If this is the standard of our hotels in our capital city, then we really do need to look out. this hotel was set up just to make money from unsuspecting people with no sign of quality or standards  (108260855)

Good location. Reasonable price.

Very warm. Very noisy as you had to sleep with window open.

Overall: No comment.  (108197198)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
