Lobby area opulent and staff appeared attentive and happy to help. Rooms well equiped, bed comfortable.

Damp smelling corridors and room. Shabby carpets in the bedroom. Room very small. We requested 3 times to have our pillows changed to ordinary foam but our request was not granted.

Overall: This hotel was described as luxury 4*. I would agree with that in regards to the general areas but this was not our experience in the room. Definately not value for money. We requested 3 times to have our bedding changed from feather to foam and each time we were told it will be actioned. We had to eventually sleep with feather bedding.  (108032230)

Modern hotel with big and clean rooms and facilites. It is a fresh change from the smaller Geogian building hotels that I stayed earlier.

Friendly helpful staff, good standard of accomodation. Comfortable beds (stayed in twin room).

Sound on TV not in synch with programme. Would have been annoying if had stayed in room in evenings. Having said that didnt report it til check out and staff very apologetic.

Overall: Excellent hotel, beautiful grand entrance, comfortable room. highly recommended. Central for all that we required. Would definatley stay there again.  (97890391)

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
