Staff could not be more helpful. Very individual quaint hotel.Bathroom was very good and room was spotless.

Lighting in room very poor, lamp did not work nor did cd/dvd player.

Overall: Had a lovely time and will probably go back to see how they progress with developing the hotel. Staff were bright, friendly and very helpful.  (108578530)

The young lady who welcomed us on our arrival was very pleasant and helpful. We ate in the hotel that evening and the same person served us and was very friendly and efficient throughout. The food was very good and plenty.

The toilet in our room wouldn't flush properly and when this was mentioned we were told that it does work but you just have to keep flushing - we finally got the hang of it but it was then time to go home! The hotel seemed to lack atmosphere - this might be a bit picky but you are asking.

Overall: Having stayed at this hotel before under the previous owners, we did notice the atmosphere was not as warm/welcoming - this we put down to teething problems. The service was good but not quite as attentive as our previous stay.  (108488116)

Beautifully presented, clean and well decorated. We had to check out before breakfast but a breakfast basked was waiting outside our door for us at 0430!

There was no one at reception or visible to check us in - we had to ring the telephone number to get someone's attention that we were there! However when a member of staff appeared she was very helpful.

Overall: Would stay again. Very good value for money.  (108163583)

The hotel felt very cosy and comfortable. The restaurant food was also very enjoyable.

The hotel is close to a busy road and some traffic noise can be heard from the bedroom

Overall: We had a very enjoyable overnight stay and would certainly go back again.  (108722115)
