The hotel is in lovely settings. Rooms are clean and pleasant. Facilities are good. Food is also very good.

Lots of stairs but help is available for luggage

Affordable and loveley view from room.

Not a lot - room was far too hot and we had to turn off the radiators and open the windows - but that's more down to their fuel bill!

Lovely hotel, good facilities

No interaction with reception staff - not asked how stay was etc

Hotel building was very attractive and staff were very helpful. It was a beautiful evening and it was lovely to be able to eat outside in magnificant gardens. Breakfast was good too.

Room was small, large stain on the carpet and bed base was badly ripped. Decorations were faded and it could have done with a lick of paint

Overall: It was OK. I would not have been happy had I paid full price to stay at this hotel  (107743550)

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
