Handsome exterior, excellent location on town square in Reepham

Interior is looking run-down. Poor supply of shampoos/soaps. Low standard of in-room furniture (4 poster room)

Overall: Old Brewery House Hotel needs significant investment to upgrade its facilities. The bathroom facilities are barely adequate and the bedroom and dining room both suffer from dim, dull lighting. The location is superb and the staff are friendly and informative. The food is good. We were lucky in that the weather was superbly sunny and most of our days were spent exploring the Norfold countryside. On a dreary wet weekend, the hotel would lack creature comforts.  (1669530)

Staff made us most welcome and were very courteous The food was very good and well presented

Access to rooms with luggage was not simple with several flights of stairs to negotiate

Overall: Generally very satisfactory  (108752596)

Good value for £52 in an area with no real competition. Breakfast included (though scrambled egg looked awful)

wall paper peeling off in room, corridor smelled musty. Bed very creaky. Seemed like it could do with being redecorated a bit But, good for £52 -would not have wanted to pay more though...

Overall: Goo ddeal for £52, but was there foir a wedding - would not have been good for romantic weekend etc!  (108005483)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
