Charming, tasteful and cosy room. Excellent buffet breakfast with adequate staff. Reception staff welcoming (french young lady). Carpark well situated. Hotel ideally situated for cathedral and town.

The spare bed and bathroom towels for our child had been forgotten, despite the phonecall the day before to check that the bed was reserved.(Rectified immediately) No lift to second floor, ok for luggage for one nights stay but could prouve a problem for more and no porter help offered (perhaps available for mobility reduced persons?).

Overall: Charming comfortable and clean hotel. Would stay here again.  (108709015)

Good central location in period hotel with free parking. Very nice small garden and comfotable public areas. One of the room we occupied was at the back and provided a very comforable night.

One room we occupied was dark, hot and very noisy because of the traffic and late night shouting outside. Very important to check all bills as a number of mistakes were made in measures and charging for drinks.

Overall: I would stay again but insist on a room at the back of the hotel  (108452913)

Very impressive suite, liked the contemporary design. Polite staff. Good (and reasonably priced) room service. Free parking behind the hotel, which is useful in the centre of Salisbury.

Our room was facing the main road (Exeter Street) and despite the two layers of single pane glass, the room was very noisy due to traffic outside. Salisbury for some reason has a tendency to have "rude boys" gunning up and down the main road at night in their cars, stereos pumping. Double glazing would have helped. The only other minor point was that the air con often made a loud clunking sound which may be a reflection that it needs looking at. The overall experience would have otherwise been "excellent" instead of "good".

Overall: Very impressive, let down only by the noise of traffic and air con.  (108185036)

Great location, informed staff, relaxing atmosphere.

The flooring squeeked terribly. If you covered it with carpet why not take it down to something that was stable. If you wanted to keep the old wood then repair it.

Clean, tidy and sizeable room with good facilities generally. Very comfortable accomodation

Only one, the small screen portable television, a little behind the times. A larger wall mounted flat screen would have been more in keeping with most hotels visited over the last 12 months or so

Overall: Only a 1 night stay however overall very happy with the room, the service and the food.  (107526643)
