Overall: We appreciated the upgrade and enjoyed the character but not great bar and restaurant offerings. Would have been disappointed with the room if we paid full tariff (107404538)
The location
Poor service, general lack of interest from the staff. Room was tatty and the bathroom was in need of renovation.
Overall: Was not made to feel welcome - felt like we were in the way! Not complained about a hotel in 10 years, but thinking of writing to the chairman. This was everything a hotel stay should not be. (107734496)

Staff friendliness and helpfulness. Good location in Woodstock.
Very small room, windows could not be secured when open. Stained carpet. No access to wardrobe due to chair in way and so small no space to put chair elsewhere. Plug could not be put in bath as shower door could not be opened as basin was in the way. Poor TV reception. Old furniture. Dinner rather expensive for what we had.
Overall: Nice hotel, very poor room, good staff training, good location for Game Fair which was the purpose of our visit. (97734153)
