Very good location, conveniently close to the cathedral and within easy walking distance to shops and attractions.
I stayed in one of the rooms in the newly added wing and was delighted with the quality of furnishings and fitments. Lovely big, firm bed and great quality bed linen. Well appointed bathroom (NB no bath but a big shower cubicle ) and nice quiet location.
The breakfast service was a bit shambolic. The layout of the buffet food areas was inadequate for the sheer numbers of people. Very slow service and limited range of food choices on offer. I waited a very long time for a pot of tea which, when it arrived, was barely big enough for one cup and came without any milk - there then ensued another long wait for that too.
Overall: A very good quality hoptel offering great value for money.......but please Mercure get your act together over the breakfast arrangements and general ergonomics of your dining room! (108671039)

Housekeeping was a little disappointing as the bed was not remade after the first night although the bathroom had been cleaned.
