Liked the cleanliness and location.

No Coffee Making facilities, or facility to get a drink from the eating room at any time - i.e. no coffees etc when returning in the evening.

Overall: I would have like to have known how small the room was, and the fact that the en-suite facilities were extremely tiny - in fact it was like a cubicle in a caravan - very small for a triple room!  (1339281)

Location to Paddington and bus/tube stations

Traffic noise from the street

Overall: Overall impression was good. However I would have liked to have seen coffee/tea facilities available in the rooms. Also some music/radio on during breakfast would be of benefit  (1543509)

The breakfast was good and the coffee was excellent.

the rooms were very small and the stairs were difficult. We had to carry our bags up to the top floor with no assistance

Overall: No air conditioning or screens on the windows. The traffic noise was very loud, and if the window was open the bugs came in. It would be good to know there is no assistance with luggage and no other way to get up to the top floors other than a very difficult staircase.  (1487018)

4.3 / 5 4.3 / 5 Moshe [Herzelia, Israel] on 22/09/2004 (Young couple)

The managment was nice, efficient and courteous. The room and shower were clean. The location is very good.

The hotel is a little stuffy and the breakfast can be upgrated to have more variety.

Overall: I would recomend this this hotel for a short stay in London to my friends.  (1442673)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
