Comfortable bed Good sized bedroom and bathroom Pleasant staff Good price Real ale pub below

Loud electrical hum until late evening and from *very* early morning meant only 4 hrs sleep. No breakfast available before 9am Strong electrical interference on all TV channels Ingrained dirt in nooks & crannies, esp in bathroom Alarm clock could not be set

The Bar in the Cellar was very nice, the Hotel had won a CAMRA award so will have to try the Beers next time

None Really we were made really welcome

Overall: In October theres not lots to do in Dover but enjoyed the rest before travelling back to Germany  (108104461)

clean, comfortable bed, good-sized bath

5 light bulbs burned out; hose on hairdryer missing, so we couldn't wash our hair; it's a little tired.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
