polite staff

tried to charge us for a meal and drinks we did not have.Also a guest came down for breakfast in a vest not a very pleasant sight first thing in the morning or at any meal time.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our room was on the 1st floor and it sounded like the floor above didn't have any carpeting because when people were walking along it was very noisy.

The restaurant staff were excellent. Everything was done efficiently and without the slightest problem.

The bedroom was a little 'old fashioned' and could have been used by a 'smoker' before we stayed. It smelt a bit 'fusty'. The 'pub'(flying boatman) was not very nice and was not a place we would choose to drink or eat in. Unfortunately there was a violent incident in the pub just after we arrived but this was sorted out quickly and efficiently by the management.

Friendly and helpful Staff. Breakfast acceptable.

Room very small for a double. Bathroom tiny. Shower totaly inadequate and virtually unusable. unpleasant smell of sewage permiated bathroom and bedroom. Television reception was unwatchable.Room clean but very tired.

friendly receptionist Reasonable cost to stay one night Would definatly stay again.

Room 224 was 'tired' in its decoration and old fashioned. Hotel overall could do with modernisation and new bed sheets!(although clean just very slight rust spots on sheets)

Overall: Was an acceptable stay, breakfast lady was friendly. Hotel in a very good position.  (108380065)

Bedding was clean and fresh

Very tired hotel, the room was very basic and the toilet didn't flush properly. shower was poor. Went to have a drink in the bar at 10pm but they had closed it and wouldn't open it for us but let the staff go in and use it.

Overall: poor would never return  (108451400)
