Good central location. Hotel dealt with complaint quite well and moved me to a new room

Staff excellent - nothing too much trouble.

Heating and hot water broke down while we were there. Staff tried to improve matters by moving us to a warmer room and by making an allowance on our bill.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
