Scott was most helpful with our requests, and the room was clean.

We were not aware that there would not be any breakfast available until after 8.30am on the Sunday, we needed to be away by 8.00am and therefore were not able to obtain a breakfast until much later in the day. The room smelt of fresh paint which made us both feel unwell and gave us a headache.

Overall: OK, but without the help of Scott we would not have been too happy as no-one else wanted to talk to us.  (108847506)

the hotel is in need of complete redecoration and the room was very small

I thought the punch bag arcade machine in the hotel bar/lounge was a nice touch over looked by every other hotel I've ever stayed at anywhere in the world!!

Thought the rooms and ensuite were very, very tired/dated, and indeed struggled to get any hot water to wash myself. Had a very restless night's sleep as outside the hotel was very noisy.

Overall: Not really value for money. In desparate need of updating (especially bedrooms and ensuites). Generally, not the best, nor value for money. Overall view - very tired, and the staff weren't too great or helpful.  (107325692)

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
