It was comfortable, inexpensive and near the airport
I e-mailed asking for bus directions from the airport but never got a reply. (If you need to know: it's bus number 45, ninth stop, ask the driver for help.)
Overall: All I needed was a warm, dry and inexpensive place to bed down for the night before an early morning flight from Manchester and I certainly got all three. The room was simple but clean and cozy. The lodge was very quiet, but there weren't many guests the night I stayed. The one staff member was friendly and polite and was happy to call me a cab in the morning. The breakfast wasn't much to write home about, but the toast and tea were hot. For 45 GBP, a good deal. I'd stay there again if I needed to stay near the airport overnight. (2968400)

staff really friendly.lovely continental bfast thrown in. 2nd stay here.
asked for same room as year ago and shower still in poor state of repair, same dust on skirting behind round table!!!!
Overall: overall for money spent not too bad BUT some serious cash needs to be spent on upgrading soon. (107443251)
