Staff helpful

First morning - coffee at breakfast was not very warm (but was speedily re[placed) and toaster did not seem to be working properly and there were no clear instructions about its use. Staff appeared to know there was someting wrong with the controls but there was no notice about this. Also, staff did not keep an eye on things over breakfast. Second morning - toaster still not working properly

Lovely place.

The price of beer in the pub was pretty steep for a country pub.

Staff were very nice efficient and helpful everything was clean

The hotel smelled a bit stale- there was wallpaper hanging off one wall on staircase. The steak sandwich on bar menu was rubbish! Would have been nice to have an alternative to full english breakfast Stairs up to second floor are difficult to get suitcases up

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
