Easy to find. some members of staff particularly friendly. Good car parking and good location. Travelling as a group we were pleased to find our rooms close together. Check in was quick and efficient, and a particular member of staff was very helpful when we needed to book taxis etc.

Despite websites all claiming the hotel had a pool etc etc attached, arrived to find the facilities no longer available and we were not informed in advance. The rooms were inconsistent - we booked three rooms and one was definately the worse of the three.

Overall: Great location for our visit to the NIA, close enough to town without the hustle and bustle, and easy to find. The NIA and the centre was just a cheap taxi ride away. Food venues close by: TGI Fridays and Beefeater (Beefeater was fab). Websites for hotel very misleading...little things like the interactive TV and mini-bar that each room claimed to have...our rooms had neither. Room did it's purpose, as a place to get our heads down cheaply...but overall was dissapointed.  (107596822)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
