Convenient, friendly, convivial, unhurried.
The beds and pillows were uncomfortable should be upgraded but bed linen and towels excellent.

The hotel was nice, food was lovely, well cooked and presented.The staff were very friendly & helpful.
The bathroom was small & the ceiling was low. There was also ledge that jutted out over the wall side of the bath. As I'm only 4 feet 10 inches feet tall this was not too inconvenient for me, but not my husband as he's 5 feet 10 inches, and as a consequence he had to lean sideways to use the over-bath shower and got a crick in his neck in the process!!!
Overall: This was a lovely hotel that had plenty of original features that added to its charm. Overall it was a good experience. (108423420)

An absolutely outstanding hotel, the owners were very welcoming especially to shooters offering the facility of a gun safe. The food was first class both the evening meal and the breakfast. The bar has a great atmosphere and we spent a wonderful evening by the fire with the locals. The hotel is in a great location with good secure parking facilities. The ensuite room was comfortable and clean with cable television, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. We will definitely return to this hotel and wished we could have stayed more than one night. Excellent value for money.
