The bedroom was good, clean and comfortable. We only used the dining room for breakfast on the two days of our stay but what we had was very good and the staff were attentive and helpful.

The condition of the ensuite was disappointing. The facilities were acceptable, but the decor was old and grubby. There were a lot of old holes in the walls where items had been removed, and the room would benefit from a tube of polyfilla and a coat of paint.

Overall: It was a pleasant and comfortable stay; we would not hesitate to use the hotel again if appropriate.  (107473882)

Good directions and plenty of parking. Good food. Comfortable room. Helpful staff.

There did not appear to be a lift though the staff offered to help with the cases.

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
