Lovely old hotel, huge rooms (so big that had we known we would have booked one room for the 4 of us, not so obvious on the internet so have only given a good rating), very clean and comfortable

Did not ask us about a newspaper so didn't get one in the morning (such a small thing really but would have been nice to have). Breakfast room was a bit crowded and staff seemed very busy.

Overall: Lovely hotel. Very nice stay. Will book again when we are in Bradford (daughter at Uni there). Staff all very friendly and helpful  (108686804)

Very central, friendly and helpful staff, good restaurant.

On busy road, across the street from a railway/bus station - but it was built as a railway hotel so this is a comment rather than a criticism.

Overall: Hotel decor is a slightly odd mix of a traditional Victorian railway hotel, updated to add a more modern feeling. But comfortable, good staff, and reasonable cost.  (108219414)

Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, seemed a pretty happy bunch. Room was better than expected and rates were extremely reasonable. Had a really good night's sleep for a change and breakfast was excellent with the best sausages I have had in a long time. Room was quiet, good parking facilities, really handy for everything

Overall: That good I have recommended to everyone, would have liked to stay longer to sample the bar, but will book again in the near future.  (107317866)

How do I add a rating?

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
