Tidy, quiet, modern and clean. Satisfying breakfast.

The sliding bathroom door didn't really fit the hole, but that was ok. Also the personal fire exit in the room was a bit creepy - but guessing not all rooms have that!

Overall: First time here, but lived up to expectations.  (108488425)

Overall: Nice and clean room. But very small room. Great breakfast.  (107825460)

There aren't any really, sorry!

The single bedroom accommodation was frankly substandard, not matching the published double room accommodation in the hotel's literature or website. Firstly I was placed in a room opposite the lift shaft, which I complained about as I am a light sleeper; I was surprised to be given this room in light of the fact that the hotel had received my reservation nearly 3 months before my stay. The second room they moved me to was also extremely small, tatty and looked out on to a wall and the fire escape. I was intending to spend 5 nights at the hotel but checked out after only one night.

Overall: The room was much too small and tatty to spend 5 nights in it comfortably - and it was overpriced at a standard price of £135 per night (although I paid less than this by booking through your website). The lack of facilities at the hotel (eg living room, bar) was also a concern, but would have been surmountable if the standard of the accommodation had been better.  (107356085)

Why do we publish ratings from Active Hotels?

Our rating system is designed to give you the confidence to find and book the hotel that best suits your needs. We've worked hard to create a fair and impartial process to collect our ratings so you can always be assured of a great hotel experience.

How do I add a rating?

Unlike other sites that offer ratings, our rating process is by invitation only. This ensures that 100% of the ratings you see on our site come from guests that have booked online with us and stayed at the hotel in question.

All our ratings are created by guests who have booked through Active Hotels (or its sister sites) and completed their stay over the last year. We don't edit, alter or adjust the ratings so you can be sure of unbiased opinions.

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
