I booked a disabled room on line and rang the hotel to confirm the booking as it is esssential that I have such a room as I am confined to a wheelchair. On arrival we were sent upstairs to a normal double room gich was most unsatisfactory. When my husband went down to the reception he was informed that they would need to "see if there was such a room vacant. I found the whole thing distdressing and cast a cloud over what should have been a lovely evening

How do you manage to collect so many ratings?

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
