Was initially given a single ensuite room that has evidently been heavily used for smoking, still fumes in the room and very unpleasant. Reception were very quick to change it - and upgrade to a double room ensuite. Free internet access. Incredibly long and deep bath! Breakfast - good choice. Very good location - near M6 and outskirts of Stafford.

Housekeeping - you could not miss the cigarette smoke in the first room.

Overall: Bed very comfortable, room warm, no problems with noise or disturbance - very quiet.  (108479376)

The hotel was where the wedding reception was being held, so it was very convenient. Clean and tidy.

Tired decor badly needs a refurb. The breakfast next day was awful, as was the wedding reception meal.

Overall: Served its purpose as somewhere to stay overnight.  (107392751)
