that I was given the optionof later check out (a ltho at a cost)

your site suggested i had option of a smoking room which i ticked. they have no such rooms.

Overall: an additional £25 was added to my bill for requesting checkout after 10 am. this is a ridiculouly early check out time on a sunday. I was told this was for staff. When I got up and left I never saw a soul.  (108647304)

Situated in a central location. Easy access to main routes. Friendly staff. homily feeling.

Decor is veering towards tired. We enjoyed the attic bedroom, good job we were fit and healthy as there were a number of flights of stairs.

48 hours after departure from your accommodation booked through Active Hotels or any of our sister sites, you may be invited to complete a guest review questionnaire. This means that, for most hotels, we're able to post more than 1 guest rating every single week. We currently display over 70,000 ratings and we add hundreds of scores from real guests every day.
